We love bringing you something unusual, and once again, we have a timepiece you may not have seen before! This is a stunning square-cased 18K yellow gold dress watch, measuring 30 x 30mm. It features a refined silvered dial, elegant Dauphine hands, and a charming subsidiary seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.
But the true showstopper here is the hinged case—a hidden central section allows the watch to transform into a desk or bedside clock. How cool is that?! Now, the nickname Cabriolet makes perfect sense!
Fitted with an original Vacheron Constantin leather strap and an 18K VC pin buckle, this rare timepiece is powered by the ultra-thin hand-wound Caliber 9K 1001, which has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
We love this rare conversation piece—it has a romantic charm, and dare we say this Cabriolet case could even be considered a complication? Get in touch to make it yours!
