As you should know by now, as we’ve mentioned many times, “we LOVE Datejusts!” In Rolex’s stable since 1945, still available in the classic 36mm size, and offered in several metals, it’s truly an EVERGREEN.
At hand, we have an 18k yellow gold reference 6605 from 1959, featuring the super cool arrowhead-shaped (or sometimes referred to as “spade”) hour markers. The pie-pan style dial has aged beautifully to a creamy shade, and the date wheel is “roulette” style, with even numbers in red and odd numbers in black. The case is in excellent condition, with a finely milled bezel that we always love! It’s fitted with a beautiful Bulang and Sons strap, which we think is a perfect match, and the movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
We always have a fantastic selection of Datejusts available, ranging from models from the 1950s to the 1990s. From precious metals to wild stone dials and gilt dials, there’s so much to explore with these timeless pieces , get in touch to learn more !
