The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6532 was introduced in 1956 and discontinued in 1958, making it a relatively short-lived reference among these 34 mm Oyster Perpetuals.
This example features a lovely case with a smooth, sporty-feeling bezel and a beautiful cream-coloured dial. The dial features applied Rolex lettering, arrowhead markers, “Swiss Only” text at six o’clock, and the “Officially Certified Chronometer” designation on the lower half of the dial all topped off by elegant dauphine hands .
The warm tone of the dial combined with the sharp markers gives this watch a distinctly vintage character, something collectors of early Rolex Oyster models truly appreciate.
We paired it with our own steel straight end-link bracelet, which gives the watch a very cool and period-correct look.
