The no nonsense tool watch…
This is a classic, fuss-free matte dial sports watch with iconic 3 6 9 hour markers in the sweet spot for Rolex Oyster cases, the 36mm. The Explorer story began in the early 1950s, when early versions of the watches were worn on the Everest expedition and has remained uninterrupted in the Rolex catalogue ever since.
The case is really strong all round, with thick lugs. The Mk3 matte dial features creamy tritium lume and the iconic painted 3-6-9 numerals and is in flawless condition. The hands are a nice match with the dial. The watch is fitted with a solid-link Oyster bracelet in awesome condition with a clasp stamped ‘S Z9’ and reference 558 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is ready for you to go exploring!
