This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Explorer 2, which began life in 1971 as reference 1655 and has become one of the brands most successful lines.
The 40mm case remains in really beautiful condition and the fixed bezel is in superb condition, with the black paint still intact in the markers and numbers. The case has drilled lug holes, which is a great quasi-vintage look. The SWISS MADE dial remains in flawless condition with black applied hour marker surrounds with matching black hands.
These watches are a great buy in the market and have such an unusual look! The 78790A bracelet is in very good condition with a clasp stamped ‘AD 2’ and solid endlinks. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
