This is a stunning Patek Philippe reference 3940 in yellow gold that features the second series dial.

At the height of the quartz crisis that decimated the Swiss watch industry, Patek released these watches with perpetual calendar complications in 36 mm cases.
The beautifully proportioned case is in superb condition and this example has a solid case back. The calendar is in German and the watch comes with its original papers , stating a sale to an Austrian dealership.
The watch is fitted with the pictured leather strap that has the original gold Patek buckle and also comes with the original Patek leather strap and a Patek box.
