The doctor’s watch with a full cyclops…
This is a very cool and beautiful condition Doxa Sfygmos.
The name is derived from the Greek word sphygmos, which translates to pulsation. The watch is housed in a steel 35mm screw-back case with a white dial that has a pulsation scale on it.
The case and dial are both in excellent condition. The dial looks a little odd at certain angles and that is because the entire plexiglass is a cyclops or loupe, which gives wonderful legibility to the dial when looked at straight on !
The watch is fitted with the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap that is fitted with the original Doxa buckle. The Valjoux cal 23 manual wind movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
