A lucky number Speedy…
In 1975 the Soviets and Americans put their political differences to one side and collaborated on a mission to dock the Apollo and Soyuz spacecraft. One year later the Italian Omega distributor De Marchi commissioned a limited run of Speedmasters to commemorate the event.
We are offering number 111 out of the 500 pieces that were produced – a very lucky number and a lovely watch. The Apollo Soyuz watches were based on the legendary 145.022 but featured a modified case to allow for the large pushers, which give the watch an extra presence on the wrist. The great condition dial features the ‘Apollo Souyuz’ patch logo dial and the caseback features a commemorative engraving. The calibre 861 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
