Porsche Design supplied the reference 7177 to many military forces and also sold them commercially, such as this example. In fact, Ferdinand Porsche was personally involved in the design of this super cool timepiece.
The 41mm steel case is strong. The black deep pie-pan dial features three sub dials and also two cool orange hands – one for the stopwatch hand and the other in the hours counter.
The dial features the 3H marking, which signifies Hydrogen 3 or as we know it better tritium. The day disc is French. The tritium lume has taken on a nice patina over the years.
The watch will come on its steel three-link bracelet, that will fit a wrist size up to 18.5cm. The Lemania 5100 automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
