Launched in 1945 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Rolex, the Rolex Datejust was a revolutionary timepiece — the world’s first self-winding chronometer to feature a date window that changed automatically at midnight.
We’ve always had a soft spot for Datejusts, and we constantly strive to bring you something a little uncommon.
Here we have a super cool 18k yellow gold vintage Datejust Ref. 1601/8 with a twist — it’s fitted on a President bracelet. The classic 36mm case with fluted bezel remains in excellent condition and houses a beautiful white pie-pan dial with crisp black text. The lume plots have developed a warm, even patina that perfectly complements the vintage aesthetic. It’s the definition of timeless elegance.
The real surprise? This piece is mounted on a President bracelet in great condition, featuring a concealed clasp and fitting wrists up to 18cm. The slow-set movement has been checked and regulated by our watchmaker and is running beautifully.
A true vintage classic with just the right amount of personality. Elevate your collection with this uncommon configuration!
