This is a very special and rare Datejusts that will appeal to the connoisseur collector of special vintage Rolex.
The striking Morellis on the bezel and the centre links of the bracelet, is a rare factory finish that Rolex produced in very small numbers by hand, making each one unique. The star of the show, however .. Known under different names like Shantung, Mosaic and Brick it is one of the rarest dials you can find in a Datejust. This blue example is just stunning!
The watch is in super nice condition, with a nice fat case and sharp bezel and the finish is still clearly visible. The full gold bracelet has some stretch but is in good condition, in line with a gold watch of this age. It will fit a wrist size of up to 19.5cm wrist. The slow-set movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
