Characterised by its stepped outer edge—resembling an inverted pie pan—it features delicate Arabic minute numerals around the perimeter, applied baton hour markers with white inserts, gold printed text, and warm cream-coloured tritium on both the hands and hour plots. The subtle grey tone gives the watch an understated elegance rarely encountered on early Day-Date references.
The English day disc perfectly complements the dial, while the watch is fitted with a period-correct 18k yellow gold President bracelet featuring the desirable non-concealed clasp. The clasp is stamped “1/70” and fitted with correctly marked 53 end links and fits currently wrists up to 19 cm.
