The return of the orange hand…
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Explorer 2, which began life in 1971 as reference 1655 and has become one of the brands most successful lines. Back in 2011, to mark 40 years of the Explorer 2, Rolex unveiled the reference 216570 and the return of the large orange 24-hour hand and the newest movement, calibre 3187. The 42mm case remains in really beautiful condition and the fixed bezel is in superb condition, with the black paint still intact in the markers and numbers. The white dial remains in flawless condition with black applied hour marker surrounds with matching glossy black hands.
The watch is accompanied by the original guarantee card, inner and outer boxes, wallet and booklets. The Oyster bracelet is in very good condition with solid endlinks. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
