The Return of The Prince…
The Rolex Prince was launched originally in 1928 and was the most expensive watch in the line up that cost roughly the same as a new car! In 2005 Rolex reintroduced the Price as part of its dress watch collection. This example was produced the year after the watch was re-launched but incredibly sat unsold in an AD until November last year and so it has the remaining balance of the Rolex five-year guarantee! As you would expect, this Prince is in exceptional condition. The case is made from Rolex’s proprietary Everose pink gold and houses a dial with embossed sunrays across two sub dials – one for minute and hours and a lower dial for the seconds. The display caseback shows the manual wind movement. The Prince comes on the original croc leather Rolex strap with Everose deployment clasp. This full set includes both inner and outer boxes, guarantee card and other booklets and wallet.
