It’s aubergine time…
The Submariner Date is a classic twist on the iconic dive watch, offering the date complication as a useful addition for daily life. This 1680 is a very beautiful example with a great case that has strong lugs and crown guards. The perfect Mk2 matte dial has hour plots that have taken on a vanilla hue over the decades and are a nice match with the hands. The inlay is amazing and depending on the light transitions between an aubergine shade and tropical brown – it really gives this awesome Sub Date an unusual and very cool look.
The solid link Oyster bracelet, reference 93150, is in very good condition with a clasp stamped ‘EO 10’ and 501 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
