The dreamy and cinematic sounds of the French duo Air meet the innovative production style of British producer Vegyn. This project, titled Blue Moon Safari Vegyn, is a reinterpretation of the iconic album Moon Safari. Vegyn delves into the masterpieces of Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin and gives them his own contemporary twist. The familiar melodies are cast in a new light, without losing sight of the original atmosphere. A fascinating dialogue between two generations of electronic music pioneers.
This album moves within the electronic spectrum, where the downtempo and ambient atmospheres of Air are combined with Vegyn’s experimental and rhythmic approach. The result is a unique mix that sounds both familiar and surprising.
